Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Boyington

 Kenneth Wayne "Kenny" Boyington, 61, husband of the late Arleen McKenzie Boyington, died Saturday, January 6, 2018, at his home. 

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, January 8, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Thomas Cemetery, Olanta.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Monday, January 8, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Mr. Boyington was born on June 14, 1956 in Lake City, son of the late Arnold Levern Boyington and Margaret Baxley Boyington.  He was a graduate of Lake City High School and a supervisor at Palmetto Synthetics of Kingstree.  Kenny attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He enjoyed cooking, playing his guitar and singing.

Surviving are his sons, Benjamin (Ashlee) Boyington and Craig (Jessica) Boyington; grandchildren, Ashton Anderson, Alexis Anderson, Johnny Boyington, Sawyer Boyington, MaKenzie Boyington and Arlee Kate Boyington; brothers, Jimmy Arnold (Linda) Boyington, Ronald Ray Boyington and Franklin Barnwell "Pete" (Cindy) Boyington; sisters, Sharon Teresa (W. C.) Dennis, Margaret Kathern (Michael) Owens, Robin Denise Mixon, Phyllis Kay (Larry) Locklair and Jacqulyn Olivia Tyler; brother-in-law, Bryan (Tracy) McKenzie; close friends, John Paul Timmons and Ray Bunyon Sims.

Mr. Boyington was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas William Boyington and Russel Allen Boyington; and sister, Patricia Ann (Harold) Welch.
