John David "Johnny" Stanley, Sr.

John David "Johnny" Stanley, Sr., 71, husband of Irma Windham Stanley, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Mr. Stanley was born on February 9, 1947 in Tallahassee, FL, son of the late Willie Murcherson "Bill" Stanley and Lena Mable Hancock Stanley.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, member of Faith Fellowship Church in Wallace, SC and worked at Bennettsville Printing.     

Surviving are his wife, Irma Windham Stanley of Bennettsville; children, Johnette Renee' Stanley Brown and John David (Courtney) Stanley, Jr. of Lake City; siblings, Janice (Charles) Rhodes of Lake City, Jean (Randolph) Lynch of Coward, Billy Stanley of Lake City and Harriet Dangerfield of Charleston; grandchildren, Alex Vincent Lee, Samantha Taylor Shady and Gracelyn  Graham Stanley.

Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by siblings, Ralph Stanley, Kenneth Stanley and Shirley Leonard.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton with burial to follow at Cook Cemetery, Lake City.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
