Joe Jessie Parker

Joe Jessie Parker, 73, died Friday, March 9, 2018, at his residence after an illness.

Funeral services will be 3:00, Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lake City, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the services.

Jessie was born on April 16, 1944 in Florence County, son of the late George Randolph Parker and Myrtle Lee Miles Parker.   He was a member of Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed cutting grass and riding his golf cart.

Surviving are his brothers, Jerry D. (Mary Lee) Parker, Ronald (Ann) Parker and Reverend Laverne (Brenda) Parker, all of Lake City; a number of nieces and nephews; and special aunts, Willa Dean Robinson and Eloise Tarte.

Jessie was preceded in death by a special nephew, Brent Parker.
