James Allen Floyd

James Allen Floyd, 63, husband of Betty Bryant Floyd, died Monday, March 4, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Mr. Floyd was born on September 26, 1955 in Williamsburg County, son of Belvaleen "Bell" Lee Floyd and the late Robert Lee Floyd. He attended Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Allen loved to hunt with his little Maggie.   

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Betty Ruth Bryant Floyd of Lake City; children, Al Floyd and Megan (Dale Parkhurst) Floyd, both of Lake City; grandchildren, Maggie Parkhurst and Ally Floyd; brother, Kent (DeAnn) Floyd of Lake City; nephews, Donovan, Blaine and Dustin; nieces, Victoria, Chloe, Christen and Chelsea; great nephew, Carson; great nieces, Langley and Brentlee; and special friend, Russell Feagin.

Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his brothers, Byron Floyd and Mark Floyd.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
