James Coleman Turbeville

James Coleman Turbeville, 83, widower of Evelyn McKenzie Turbeville, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Lake City Memorial Park, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Mr. Turbeville was born in Florence County on November 22, 1933, son of the late James Herbert Turbeville and Hoyt Coleman Turbeville.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the 82nd Airborne Division.  Mr. Turbeville was a member of Grace & Glory Ministries and a retired electrician and a farmer.  He was an outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are his sons, Kenneth Mac (Debbie) Turbeville, James Herbert (Wanda) Turbeville and Timothy Coleman (Cheri) Turbeville, all of Lake City; grandchildren, Dottie Turbeville Creel of Lake City, Carlie Turbeville (Trent) Edwards of Timmonsville, Coleman Maxie (Audrey) Turbeville, Justin James Turbeville, Matthew Coleman Turbeville and Nicole Langley Turbeville, all of Lake City; great-grandchildren, Kylan, Corbin, Everly and Campbell.
