Jack Braveboy

Jack Braveboy, 68, died Sunday, December 2, 2018, at his residence.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Coward, directed by Carolina Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the home of Jaclyn and Vance Amerson, 415 N. Matthews Road, Lake City.

Mr. Jack Braveboy was born on August 7, 1950 in Florence County, son of the late Cleo Willard Braveboy and Irene Hutchinson Braveboy.  He was a graduate of J. C. Lynch High School and was a retired supervisor at Socar.

Surviving are his children, Jaclyn (Vance) Amerson of Lake City, Justin Braveboy, Alaina Braveboy, Stephanie Braveboy (Bryan Young) and Jared Braveboy (Cortney Isgett), all of Coward; grandchildren, Rylan Braveboy, Tara Braveboy, Dylan Young, Nicholas Amerson, and Colton Young and one on the way; step granddaughter, Kori Amerson; siblings, Carolyn (Joe) James, Jerry (Lucy) Braveboy, Joyce (David) McClam and Willard (Gale) Braveboy.

Mr. Braveboy was preceded in death by his former wife, Ruth Wise Braveboy; and a grandson, Trevor Braveboy.
