Henry Lewis Morris

Henry Lewis Morris, 75, husband of Dyann Smith Morris, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at his residence, after an illness.

Mr. Morris was born February 1, 1943, in Florence County, son of the late Lewis William Morris and Lillie Mae Rodgers Morris.  He was a member of Leo Church of God and retired from International Union of Operating Engineers as a crane operator.

Surviving are his wife, Dyann Smith Morris of Pace, FL; daughters, Linda Rubio of Pinson, AL, Rhonda Parker of Myrtle Beach, SC, Gina Schultz of Steele, AL and Stacey Lyn Morris of Darlington, SC; brothers, R. W. Morris of New Zion, SC, Hoyt Morris of Walterboro, SC, Linwood Morris of Lake City, SC and Ronnie (Betty) Morris of Sumter, SC; twelve grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.  

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by a grandson, Robbie Parker; brother, J. D. Morris and a sister, Leona Morris Belflower.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Leo Church of God, Lake City.  Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, at Leo Church of God, Lake City.
