Harry Lee Parrott

Harry Lee Parrott, 85, died, Monday, February 19, 2018, at his residence, after an illness. 

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton. 

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Parrott was born on November 2, 1932 in Florence, son of the late Sid W. Parrott and Sallie Matthews Parrott.  He was a graduate of J. C. Lynch High School and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Parrott was a member of Palmetto Street Church of God and retired from Daniel's Construction with over 30 years of service.  Harry Lee was a loving father and papa, who had a giving heart and a passion for lost souls.

Surviving are his daughters, Elaine Parrott (Michael) Evans of Scranton and Katina Gaymon of Charlotte, NC; sister, Barbara Annele Matthews Scranton; brother, Eulon Parrott of Scranton; grandchildren, Richard (Jamie) Parrott and Kristy (Derrick) Parrott, both of Coward and Robert Allen Page of Scranton; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Parrott of Coward; great grandchildren, Morgan Eldridge of Florence and Havyn Parrott of Coward.

Mr. Parrott was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Lee Parrott; sister, Lois Gill; and brothers, Sydney Parrott and Donald Parrott.
