Frances Matthews Obituary
Mrs. Frances Huggins Matthews, 79, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence, after an illness.
Mrs. Matthews was born August 11, 1938, in Florence County, daughter of the late Joseph Cleveland Huggins and Marian Cockfield Huggins. She was a member of Grace & Glory Ministries, Coward.
Surviving are her children, Karen Windham (Russell) McClary of Kingstree, W. Brad (Lisa) Windham of Charleston and J. Dean (Rebecca) Windham of Lake City; father of her children, Jerold Windham of Charleston; eleven grandchildren; husband, Mitchell Matthews and four step-children.
Mrs. Matthews was preceded in death by her husband, Richmond Ratliff; a grandson, John Ross McClary and brother, Jerry Cleveland Huggins.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the funeral home prior to services.
