Finley Ray Reynolds, Sr., 62, husband of Darlene Reynolds, died Saturday, May 11, 2019, at MUSC in Florence.
Mr. Reynolds was born on November 2, 1956 in Louisville, KY, son of the late Lee Finley Reynolds and Opal Marie Mullins Reynolds. He was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as an Usher and was a retired Mail Room Manager at the Morning News. Mr. Reynolds was a member of Blue Masonic of Corbin, KY and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene Reynolds of Effingham; sons, Finley Ray Reynolds, Jr. of Timmonsville and Cody (Lexi Rollins) Reynolds of Effingham; grandson, Schuyler Nathanel Reynolds; sister, Roberta Reynolds of Pamplico; brother, Harrell Reynolds, Sr. of Timmonsville; nieces, Percilla, Carlena, Ashley, Katrina, Amber and Brittany; nephew, Glenn; a number of great nieces and nephews; special aunt, Betty Mullins (special uncle, Leamon Mullins, deceased) of Metter, GA; and a special dog, Emberly.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a sister, Lucinda Cook and brother-in-law, Charlie Cook; and a nephew, Melvin Cook.
Funeral services will be 5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, Timmonsville. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at the church.
