Fay Matthews

Fay M. Matthews, 62, died Friday, September 15, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.

Fay was born on April 5, 1955 in Florence, a daughter of the late Lillie Mae Miles. 

Surviving are her son, LaRon (Nickcole) Matthews of Lake City; daughter, April Matthews of Lake City; husband, Linwood "Coot" Parker of Lake City; grandchildren, River Matthews and Madison Matthews, Christina Scott, D.J.  Matthews, Hunter Matthews and Trenton Welch, all of Lake City; step-daughter, Brittany (Daniel) Welch of Lake City; sisters, Lizzie Sauls and Diana Brown, both of Lake City.

Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie J. Matthews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Matthews Cemetery, Lake City.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton and other times at the home, 1309 Parker Rd, Lake City, SC.
