Eddie Pat Morris

Eddie Pat Morris, 62, husband of Lynda B. Morris, died Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Lake City Community Hospital.

Pat was born on September 13, 1956 in Sumter County, son of the late Kenneth E. Morris, Sr. and Janie Gamble Morris. He was a retired carpenter, enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and was an Earnhardt Fan.

Surviving are his wife, Lynda B. Morris of Scranton; daughters, Ashley (Joseph) Skvarek of Coward and Tammy Russ of Scranton; grandchildren, Janie (Miranda Matthews) Skvarek, Dakota Skvarek, Matthew Holloman, Christopher Nesmith and Marlon Graham; eight great grandchildren; sister, Janice Kaye Christy of Charleston; brother, Julian Wayne Morris of Johns Island; mother-in-law, Hazel Baxley of Scranton; special niece, Jessica (Johnny) Beard; and special friend, Chip Stokes. 

Pat was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth E. Morris, Jr.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 1, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Wilkes Cemetery, Old #4 Hwy, Scranton, SC

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, prior to the services at the funeral home.
