Clint Douglas Poston

Mr. Clint Douglas Poston, 31, died Sunday, June 24, 2018.

Clint was born on December 23, 1986, in Florence, SC, son of Tommy Geral Poston and the late Tammi-Jayne Coleman Poston. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and Palmetto Squirrel Club. Clint was a 2005 graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School, graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College with an Associate Degree and was employed as an inspector with SCDOT.

Surviving are his father, Tommy (Debbie McAllister) Poston of Pamplico; brother, Adam Tyler (Jessi Sims) Poston of Pamplico; paternal grandparents, Jarvis D. "Billy" and Fannie Jo Poston of Pamplico; maternal grandfather, Jack Howard Coleman of Timmonsville; uncles, Grant (Susan) Coleman of Apex, NC and Adrian (Theresa) Poston of Effingham; aunt, Myra (Wayne) Coleman of Johnsonville; companion, Linda Hyman of Johnsonville and her children, Harley Layla Lee and Hanna Cheyenne Lee.

Clint was predeceased by his mother, Tammi-Jayne Poston; brother, Coleman Geral Poston; maternal grandmother, Carole Dawn Liggins Coleman and aunt, Trudy Edwards.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow at Prosser Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Billy Poston, 2833 Bay Road, Pamplico, SC 29583. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gastric Cancer Foundation, c/o The V Foundation for Cancer Research, 14600 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC 27513, in memory of Clint's mother, Tammi-Jayne Coleman Poston.
