Christopher Michael Connell, 44, died Sunday, September 10, 2017, in Cherry Log, Ga.

Christopher was born on September 10, 1973 in Florence, a son of Joanne Hicks Fennel and Arnold Fennel and the late James Michael Connell.

Surviving are his son, Christopher William (Elizabeth Tilton) Connell of Scranton; daughter, Brianna Fennell of Lake City; parents, Joanne and Arnold Fennel of Johnsonville; step-daughter, Tiffany N. Prosser of Coward; a special friend, Ramonia "Rae" Reagin of Cherry Log, GA; mother of his son, Stacey Connell of Coward; step-sisters, Patricia (Timmy) Tedder of Scranton, Sharon (Steve) McCutcheon of Olanta, Rebecca (Neal) Parrott of Scranton and Claudia (Brian) Floyd of Lake City; grandfathers, James "Bud" Hicks and Eulon Parrott, both of Scranton.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandmother, Harriet Parrott; grandparents, Carolyn and Horace Connell.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at E. V. Gaskins Cemetery, Lake City. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the funeral home.
