Belinda Jean P. Carter, 54, died Friday, June 21, 2019, at her residence in Effingham.

Mrs. Carter was born on February 11, 1965 in Florence County, daughter of Paul Parrott and Hazel Driggers Parrott. She was a housewife and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Allen Carter of Florence; parents, Paul and Hazel Parrott of Timmonsville; son, Dustin (Ashley) DeFee of Frederick, MD; daughter, Ashley Coker of Effingham; grandchildren, Rosalie DeFee, Hudson DeFee and Jayden Allen Spencer; siblings, Joey Parrott, Cindy (Mitchell) Carter and Scott (Michele) Parrott, all of Timmonsville.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Matthews Cemetery, Lake City.
