Barbara Cahoon

Barbara Lee Byrd-Cahoon, 54, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cahoon was born on October 10, 1963 in Florence, daughter of Mamie Feagin Lee and the late William "Candy" Lee.  She was a graduate of South Florence High School and was a Service Advisor with Efird Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge. Barbara was Volunteer Administrator at Light House for Lupus and was active in the family construction business.  She was devoted to her family, enjoyed watching football, loved music, and playing guitar.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Florence; are her husband, Harvey Stuart Cahoon of Scranton; children, Bryan (Ashley) Byrd of Scranton, Ryan Byrd of Sumter and Shana Lee of Coward; stepson, Andrew (Nicole) Cahoon of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren, Kearston Miles, Madison Byrd, Hayden Byrd, Olivia Byrd and Nathaniel Cahoon; sisters, Katherine (Jimmy) Barker, Jean Ann (Michael) Barker, Paula (Joel) Jones and Pamela (Stephen) Blackmon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
