Angela Newton Cooley, 52, wife of Pat Cooley, died Sunday, December 29, 2019, at her home in Manning.
Mrs. Cooley was born on October 9, 1967 in Florence county, daughter of the late Reverend Alton J. Newton and Betty Jean Cannon Newton. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and attended The University of South Carolina in Columbia. Angela was the owner and operator of Café Cooley Food Prep Company and previously was in management in the restaurant industry and with Trader Publishing. She had a very loving and giving heart, always willing to help people in any way she could. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Pat Cooley of Manning; sons, Graham Cooley of Manning and Patrick Cooley of Columbia; daughter, Lauren Cooley (Dave) McCullough of Charleston; two grandchildren, Emma McCullough and Wesley McCullough; brothers, Al (Barbara) Newton of Lake City and Mark Newton of Outer Banks, NC; sisters-in-law, Kristy C. Pridgen of Lexington, Kim Newton of Olanta, Pam Cooley (Grady) Rodgers of Tempe, Arizona, Sabrina Cooley (Mitch) Uzzle of Holly Hilly; brother-in-law, Tom (Cathy) Cooley of San Diego, California.
Mrs. Cooley was preceded in death by her brothers, David Newton and Danny "Cotton" Newton.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 2, 2020, at 3:00 PM at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the funeral home prior to the service.
