Willow V. (Hanna) Turner

Willow V. Hanna Turner, 92, wife of the late Vaska "Bo" Turner, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Commander Nursing Home, Florence.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, August 11, 2017 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Hanna Family Cemetery, Johnsonville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, and other times at the home of John and Karen Turner, 4712 Willow Creek Rd, Florence.

Mrs. Turner was born on February 21, 1925 in Florence County, daughter of the late John Jesse Hanna and Verline Carter Hanna.  She was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and a member of Family Worship Assembly in Coward.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening and was an avid Atlanta Braves Fan.

Surviving are her son, John A. (Karen) Turner of Florence; grandchildren, Michelle (Bobby Boatwright) Turner of Pamplico, Richard (Amber) Turner of Lamar and James (Crissy) Turner of the Vox Community; and eight great grandchildren.

Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by two sons, Vaska DeLeon Turner and Calvin Turner; a granddaughter, Donna Gail Turner; a grandson, Jonathan Turner and a sister, Elnora Hanna Bradley.
