Tommy R Miller

Thomas Rudolph Miller, 41, of Scranton, died Friday, July 14, 2017, at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, after an illness.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Monday, July 17, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Hicks Cemetery at Beulah Free Will Baptist Church, on Old #4 Highway, Scranton.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Monday, July 17, 2017, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Miller was born on September 22, 1975, in Florence County, son of Thomas Leslie Miller and the late Shirley Faye Broach Miller. Tommy was also the son of Phillip & Geraldine Broach. He was a graduate of Lake City High School and was employed with Expert Entertainment before becoming disabled. Tommy enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his parents, Thomas L. Miller of Darlington and Phillip and Geraldine Broach of Scranton; daughter, Autumn Filyaw of Johnsonville; sisters, Joanne (Richard) Peake of Lynchburg, Karen (Thomas) Dew of Bennettsville, Becky (Robbie) Bryant of Darlington, Erin (Jason) Selph of Belfield, ND; brother, Kenneth Miller of Nashville, TN; seven nephews and 3 nieces.
