Michael Jay Yarborough, Jr.

Mr. Michael Jay Yarborough, Jr., 32, died Thursday, June29, 2017.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M., Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. at the church prior to funeral services.

Mr. Yarborough was born June 2, 1985, in Florence County, a son of Carlene Compton Riley and the late Michael Jay Yarborough, Sr.  He was a graduate of Allegany High School, McKeesport, PA, and was formerly employed with Yarborough Construction.  Michael attended Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving besides his mother, Carlene Compton Riley of Florence, are; daughter, Mya Nicole Yarborough of McKeesport, PA; grandmothers, Annie Ruth Yarborough of Scranton and Elaine McGowan of Greenville; brother, Cody Riley of Connecticut; and cousin, Devyn Yarborough (Will) Kershner of Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Yarborough was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willard DeLeon Yarborough and Joe Compton, Sr.
