KINGSTREE: Wade Perry Feagin, 60, died Wednesday January 18, 2012 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel in Scranton with burial to follow in Lake City Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, January 20th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Feagin was born November 2, 1951, in Williamsburg County, a son of Juanita Smith Feagin and the late Leo Feagin. He was a graduate of Hebron High School and was a retired truck driver. He was a long-time resident of Kingstree and was a very talented musician and singer.
Surviving are his mother Juanita S. Feagin of Florence; his children, Shane (Hope) Feagin of Conway, Kerry (Don) Balder of Charlotte, NC., Gayla Feagin and Atlanta Feagin, both of Conway; four grandsons; sister, Marie (Vernon) Herndon of Summerville; brothers, Raydell (Gladys) Feagin of Florence, Garry (Carolyn) Feagin of Scranton and Barney Feagin of Huntsville, AL; and special friend, Gina Gunnells of Conway.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dempsey Feagin.
