FLORENCE: Mr. Robert C. Tabor, 64, of Athens, Georgia, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia passed away on February 1st 2012, at MUSC, Charleston, SC.
Robert was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School in 1964, where he was an outstanding football player. He was an avid sportsman and he loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife Teressa L. Tabor of twenty of years; his children Teri L. Tabor and Robert C. Tabor, both of Charleston, and Christina E. Tabor of Athens, Georgia. He is also survived by his two grandsons, Chase and Colton; his sister Pam Lindsey of Charleston and brother-in-law Richard Lindsey of Charleston, along with three nephews and one niece; his mother-in-law Mary Bonham of St. Albans and his cousin Rick Mullins, whom he considered a brother, of Scott Depot.
Carolina Funeral Home is handling local arrangements. Funeral services are being planned later, in Charleston, West Virginia.
