EVERGREEN:  Mr. Rembert H. Morris, 74, widower of Sherba Dean Watford Morris, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. 

Mr. Morris was born July 18, 1935, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Heddley Lucius Morris and Emma Lucille Coker Morris.  He retired from Vulcraft of Florence.  Mr. Morris attended Shiloh Church of God of Prophecy and was a member of the Southeastern Blue Grass Association.

Survivors Include:  Two sons, Heddley Eugene Morris of Evergreen and Joddy (Rochelle) Morris of Coward; one daughter, Tabitha (Cairo-Daiyen Wetzel) Williams of Evergreen; six grandchildren, J. D. Morris and Ethan Morris, both of Coward, Patrick Floyd of Olanta, Princess Whelen of Southern Illinois University, Jazmen Harris and Jenny~fer Prueitt, both of Evergreen; three brothers, Edward (Lazette) Morris of Coward, Bertie Lee (Shelby) Morris of Scranton and Glen (Joyce) Morris of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Mary Emma (Roy) Phillips of Goose Creek and Grace (Joel) Richardson of Gresham; and two special nieces, Tonie (David) Clark of Riverdale, GA, and Vickie (Bill) Railey of Sharpsburg, GA.
Mr. Morris was predeceased by a brother, Harry L. Morris, and a sister, Shelder Reed.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.  Burial will follow in the Shiloh Church Cemetery, Coward, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Saturday, February 20, 2010,  at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 E. Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton, SC, and at other times at the home:  4333 Planer Road, Effingham, SC 29541.
