KINGSTREE: Mrs. Lizzie Dell Dorrell McDonald, 72, wife of Kester Gerald McDonald, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Kingstree Nursing Facility after an illness.
Mrs. McDonald was born January 23, 1938, a daughter of the late Ralph McDuffie Dorrell and Elizabeth Grimsley Dorrell. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are: Her husband, Kester G. McDonald of Kingstree; her children, Robin Evans and her husband Steve, Ren Belue and her husband, Chris and Jay McDonald and his wife, Brenda, all of Kingstree, and Chuck McDonald and his wife, Lisa of Lake City; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brother, Archie Dorrell and his wife, Angie of Lexington, and her sister, Imogene Hagwood and her husband, Lonnie of Orangeburg.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 26, 2010, at Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will have visitation Sunday evening, July 25th, from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 E. Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton, SC.
