LAKE CITY: Mr. Frank M. Trebella, 82, husband of Mildred Rush Trebella, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 15, 2009.

Mr. Trebella was born September 30, 1926, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Elizabeth Brozachello Trebella and Mr. Trebella. After twenty-four years of service, he retired as a highly decorated First Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps having served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He later retired from the SC State Highway Department in Beaufort, SC, and he was a member of Bible Outreach Church.

Survivors Include: His wife, Mildred R. Trebella of Lake City; two daughters, Jackie T. Owens of Charleston and Dianne T. Swaringen of New Bern, NC; sons, Bill Trebella, and his wife, Nancy, of Lake City; Larry Williamson, and his wife, Linda, of Lake City and Alva Williamson also of Lake City; grandchildren, Michael Trebella, Quincy Owens, and his wife, Diana, Matthew Owens, Angie G. Eichler, and her husband, Jack, and Stephen Williamson; one great grandson, Chase Owens. He was predeceased by his first wife, Julie Coker Trebella; grandson, Chip Trebella, and by four brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 18, 2009, at Bible Outreach Church with the Reverend Gene McAllister and Reverend Donald Duncan officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Lake City Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday evening at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 East Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton, SC, and other times at the home: 213 N. Lexington Avenue, Lake City, SC.
