COWARD: Mr. Charles M. “Bud” McGee, 64, husband of Gertrude W. McGee, died Sunday, December 11, 2011, at his home after an illness.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 13, 2011, from 12:00 Noon – 1:30 P.M. at Carolina Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 2:00 P.M., at Mossy Grove Cemetery in Coward.
Mr. McGee was born June 16, 1947, in Florence County, a son of the late Raymond E. and Earline Ham McGee. He retired from Korn Industries of Sumter. Prior to this, Bud was associated with NAPA Auto Parts of Lake City, and frequently helped his parents at their store, McGee’s Grocery in Coward. He attended Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy and loved to fish.
Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Gertrude W. McGee of Coward; and a host of friends, including Pete and Leverne Lee of Coward.
