SCRANTON: Mrs. Annie Mae Miles, 87, wife of the late Grady Elijah Miles, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Lake City Community Hospital after an illness.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M., Friday, May 18, 2012, at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 E. Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy with burial to follow in Strickland - Feagin Cemetery, Lake City, S.C.
Mrs. Miles was born May 28, 1924, in Florence County, a daughter of the late Dick Thomas and Martha Strickland Thomas Feagin. She was a seamstress with Wentworth Manufacturing Company and a devoted, lifetime member of Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Miles loved flowers and gardening and was loved by everyone.
Survivors include: Her daughters, Katy Miles (Willie) Bryant and Janice Miles Kelley of Lake City; son, Steve (Connie) Miles of Lake City; grandchildren, John Kelley, Frank (Cindy) Bryant, David Bryant, Susanne Bryant and Clay Miles; 10 great grand children; 14 great-great grandchildren; and half sisters Mary Miles of Kingstree and Vera Jeffords of Nichols.
She was preceded in death by a number of brothers, sisters, and half brothers and sisters.
