NORTH CHARLESTON: Alease Hunt, 61, died Thursday, October 1, 2009, at her home in North Charleston after an illness.
Ms. Hunt was born July 26, 1948, in Maxton, NC, a daughter of the late Clinton Hunt and Lessie Oxendine Hunt. She loved cooking, sewing and quilting.
Survivors include her special friend, Mark Martinez; her children: Richard Carnahan, Jr., of Coco Beach, FL, Vickie Wallace and her husband, Danny of Scranton, Brenda Carnahan and her husband, Keith of Charleston and Floyd Hall and his wife, Stacy of Summerville; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-granchildren; three sisters, Anna Bryant and her husband, Chuck of Alliance, OH, Katie Seay of Lake City and Linda Allen and her husband, Buddy of Arcadia, FL; and one brother, Charles Hunt and his wife, Chris of Moncks Corner.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 4, 2009, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 East Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton, SC, and at other times at the home of her daughter, 2464 N. Bethel Road, Scranton, SC.
